Posts on here have been lacking a bit which I totally blame on being busy with work! Alas here is another post to remind you of the upcoming Reading Tweetup!

The details for the next Reading Tweetup are:

When: Wednesday – 6th of July – 7.30pm onwards.
Where: Upstairs in Glo. Google Maps linky.
Who: You!
Why: 2 for 1 cocktails at Glo all night.

So you have never been to a Reading Tweetup before and meeting new people scares you? Well, you’re in good company. We’ve all been newbies at a Reading Tweetup before and we all know it can be difficult coming to something for the first time, but we are all lovely and will welcome you with open arms.

The people that come to the Reading Tweetups are a really mixed group of people; we have professionals working for IT companies, students at Reading University and people from many other professions.

Conversations range from Twitter to truly random subjects, such as whether brown sauce is nice or horrible, as well as the various types of wall paint [both happened at a recent Tweetup!].

Come and join us this Wednesday and keep an eye on the #rdgtweetup hashtag!

With all the bank holidays and Easter and this lovely weather we’ve had I hope you haven’t forgotten about the Reading Tweetup!

The good weather is looking to continue with Wednesday’s forecast to be around 19 degrees. Perfect time for a raspberry and elderflower Tom Collins and conversations with fellow Reading tweeters? Or maybe two with Glo’s fantastic 2 for 1 offer on cocktails for all Reading Tweetup attendees!

There are two events you shouldn’t miss this week if you live in or near Reading. Tuesday night is Reading Geek Night 18 and Wednesday night is the Reading Tweetup.

Tuesday night features talks about art and technology, phone apps and digital footprints whereas Wednesday has 2 for 1 cocktails. It’s the best of both worlds!

I hope to see you at both or maybe just the Reading Tweetup on Wednesday, the 13th of April, 7.30pm onwards at Glo [map].

This year is advancing with big steps and not only did we just switch to British Summer Time, but it’s also already the 7th Reading Tweetup of the year!

It will take place on Wednesday, the 30th of March, 7.30pm onwards upstairs at Glo [map].

We have a 2 for 1 deal on cocktails and there is also great food at Glo. Come join us!

It’s another Reading Tweetup week. The next Reading Tweetup will be this Wednesday, the 16th of March, 7.30pm onwards upstairs at Glo [map].

So why should you come to a Reading Tweetup?

• You get to meet lovely people from Reading who are on Twitter. Have a look at our #rdgtweetup attendees Twitter list for some regulars.
• 2 for 1 cocktails all night. And Glo’s cocktails are pretty nice.

I’ve started creating a list of Reading Tweetup attendees in 2011.

As it stands the list contains 27 people though I know I’ve missed out on a lot.

I was originally thinking of naming this post ‘Now you have no more excuses to miss a Reading Tweetup’, but eventually settled on a more formal title!

Now I think I got that right and have asked a few people to check it, but if there’s something wrong with it, please let me know on Twitter or in the comments.

February is finally here and with it the first signs of spring, even though it’s still bitterly cold.

And could there be a better way to combat the cold than spending it in a warm cocktail bar drinking cocktails in lovely company? I don’t think so!
